Feeding Greene, Inc. is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing food to those in need in our community.
The food pantry is open every Tuesday & Thursday 10am-12 noon, the third Wednesdays from 4pm - 6pm. Saturday times available by appointment.

The Greene Care Clinic provides free quality health care and prescription support to residents of Greene County between the ages of 19 and 64 who do not qualify for Medicaid/Medicare and who make less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Level upper income level was raised after Medicaid was expanded in January 2019). They also coordinate a Community Medical Supply Closet that contains numerous items that might be helpful to Greene County residents (all items are available for free and there are no eligibility requirements – you do not need to be a patient of the clinic to receive items).
The Community Medical Supply Closet is open on Mondays from 10 am to 11 am and on the First Saturday of Each Month from 10 am to 11 am. It is located on Ford Avenue, across from the Courthouse in Stanardsville. To learn more about our Community Medical Supply Closet (open to everyone):
Greene Alliance of Church/Community Efforts, Inc. (GRACE) is an alliance of faith-based people doing needs-based ministry.
The purpose of GRACE is to empower Greene County residents to move toward independence and a more self-reliant life-style by offering a hand-up, and not just a hand-out. GRACE has 501(c)(3) status so your generous contributions are tax-deductible.
GRACE depends on a network of volunteers and donations from churches, civic groups, businesses and individuals to help meet these needs.
