Help For Our Neighbors
The Justice and Peace Committee's mission is to provide help to members of our community who are in need. This committee is funded entirely by the donations we receive directly from you. Please be generous with your green envelopes!
Thanksgiving Food Drive
We have started our annual Thanksgiving food donation drive to provide food to several local families. The bulletin board in the church foyer has a suggested list of food items that can be donated. Please bring all donations to the blue plastic container in the church foyer by Sunday, November 17th. Thanks for your generosity!
Senior Gift Drive
The Justice and Peace Committee is working with GRACE during the holiday season with gifts for seniors. We have been given five seniors to shop for Christmas gifts. Each senior has a card with a wish list along with their shirt, pant, and shoe size. These cards can be found on the bulletin board in the church foyer. Please wrap the gifts and return to the blue plastic bin by Sunday, December 1st.

Greene Care Clinic
The Greene Care Clinic's mission is to provide healthcare to residents of Greene County who are uninsured and whose income is below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level.
Services are available Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 am until noon. They also sponsor a Medical Supply Closet where all types of items can be borrowed free of charge. For more information, go to https://www.greenecareclinic.org

Greene Alliance of Church/Community Efforts, Inc. (GRACE) is an alliance of faith-based people doing needs-based ministry. The purpose of GRACE is to assist Greene County residents in need, incorporating the hope of Christ and the principles of a responsible lifestyle. GRACE depends on a network of volunteers and donations from churches, civic groups, bus and individuals to help meet these needs. Feeding Greene, Inc. is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing food to those in need in our community. Located at 81 Main St., Stanardsville, the
food pantry is open every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday from 9 am to 12 noon and on Wednesdays from 4 - 6 PM.
