Justice and Peace Committee

HELPING OUR COMMUNITY

The mission of the Justice and Peace Committee is to provide help to members of our community who are in need These efforts are funded entirely by the donations we receive directly from you.  


Please be generous when you are able by placing your offering in the green envelopes provided with the regular collection envelopes or by simply putting "Justice and Peace" on any any envelope or on the memo line of your check.

GRACE ANNUAL SCHOOL SUPPLY COLLECTION through august 2, 202

HELPING LOCAL CHILDREN IN NEED

The Justice and Peace Committee will be collecting school supplies for GRACE again this year.

This program provides school supplies for school age children in Greene County Public Schools each year.  In 2019, 200 children received supplies at the beginning of the school year and many others were helped throughout the year.  


Please leave your donations in the container in the entryway of the church.

Greene Care Clinic

Greene Care Clinic

The Greene Care Clinic's mission is to provide healthcare to residents of Greene County who are uninsured and whose income is below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Services are available Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 am until noon.  They also sponsor a Medical Supply Closet where all types of items can be borrowed free of charge.  For more information, go to https://www.greenecareclinic.org

GRACE

Greene Care Clinic

Greene Alliance of Church/Community Efforts, Inc. (GRACE) is an alliance of faith-based people doing needs-based ministry. The purpose of GRACE is to assist Greene County residents in need, incorporating the hope of Christ and the principles of a responsible lifestyle.  GRACE depends on a network of volunteers and donations from churches, civic groups, bus and individuals to help meet these needs.  For more information, check out their website:  https://www.greenealliance.org .

Feeding Greene


Feeding Greene, Inc. is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing food to those in need in our community. Located at 81 Main St., Stanardsville, the 

 food pantry is open every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday from 9 am to 12 noon and on Wednesdays from 4 - 6 PM.
